In holding the technology controls of Maynilad Water Services -- the largest water utility company in the Philippines -- Francisco’s innovative approach has been mission-critical in providing water and sewerage services to approximately nine million Filipinos across Manila and adjoining provinces.
Francisco’s team created the Automatic Customer Communication (ACC) application to enhance customer service levels, delivered by a plethora of established and emerging technologies.
Notably IoT to create a data repository housing equipment status plus pipe pressure and flow, alongside GIS (Geographic Information System) to offer a visual representation of all company assets on a digital map, both under and above ground. This flows through a digital portal displaying billing and advisory information to customers, and is supported by a central control room monitoring all plants and facilities -- billed as a nerve centre of the company.
