CIO is proud to launch the second running of CIO50 in ASEAN, recognising the top 50 senior technology executives driving innovation, strengthening resiliency and influencing rapid change.
Reflective of IDG’s increasing commitment to the region, CIO50 is aligned to a global awards program and viewed as a mark of excellence within the enterprise.
In 2020, CIO50 will be judged on three core pillars of Innovation; Leadership and Resiliency, honouring transformational, inspiring and enduring CIOs at both in-country and regional levels within Southeast Asia.
The role of technology leaders – whether CIO, CTO, CSO or CDO – continues to change at pace, driven by the emergence of new technologies and business models. CIO50 will capture this change through highlighting the innovative work of individuals and organisations across the region.
Whether a small project or large company-wide initiative, entrants are encouraged to document the positive impact of technology and the business benefits of disruptive thinking.
To self-nominate or nominate on behalf of someone else, fill out the online questionnaire by clicking here.
All nominations will be reviewed by a select and independent CIO50 judging panel before the list is finalised.
After 25 highlighted CIOs and organisations, the remaining 25 honourees recognised are listed alphabetically by company. This year will also see the introduction of three individual awards, acknowledging CIO excellence across Innovation; Leadership and Resiliency.
Submissions will form the basis of written profiles of all 50 technology leaders, published by James Henderson, Editorial Director of CIO in ASEAN.
Set for Thursday, December 3, the CIO50 will be unveiled during a celebration ceremony hosted virtually, alongside dedicated editorial streams deep-diving into CIO next steps as Southeast Asia repositions for growth. This is a proactive measure taken in response to Covid-19 developments and aligned to government measures - more virtual event details will be shared in the coming weeks.
