General

Accepted File Formats

  • Gif (.gif) or jpeg (.jpg)
  • Rich Media
  • 3rd Party
*All images should be bordered so they do not bleed into the background.

Images should be optimised to the lowest-possible bit depth using Adobe Photoshop or a similar program. For optimal display, we recommend using the browser-safe colour palette. Fewer colours result in the sharpest and most efficient ads.

Third Party hosted ads must be SSL-Compliant.

Lead Time

All standard image and text submissions require three (3) business days to be accepted, tested and processed. Rich Media files require five (5) business days to be accepted, tested and processed. Final creative submissions must be tested and function properly on PC and Macintosh computers in all recent versions of both Internet Explorer and Firefox.

Hyperlinking

Clients should specify a destination URL such as the following: http://www.computerworld.com.au. Please provide the destination URL in a separate txt file along with the finalised creative material. Client must ensure URLs are correct and are live before sending - this also includes redirects for third-party serving. Any tags found to not adhere to this will not be placed on any IDG web site.
