Today, the business is building out a framework for the adoption of human cloud systems for the workforce, designed to move away from manual underwriting processes.

As Head of IT, Faisal Yahya defines human cloud as the act of taking a job traditionally performed by a designated employee (or insurance agent) and outsourcing it to an undefined, generally large group of people in the form of an open call over the Internet.

Operating as a “specific form” of cloud computing, human cloud is combining technology and the workforce, explained as “the paid recruitment of an online, independent global workforce for the objective of working on a specifically defined task or set of tasks.”

The exchanging of information between human cloud workers and servers is delivered through a secure application programming interface (API), with users periodically receiving task notifications.
