For example, Miao and her team implemented IoT and connected devices in logistics parks to capture smart data to predict traffic and better service customers.

This is in addition to integrating cognitive services and blockchain technologies to automate and modernise the contractual nature of GLP tenant agreements -- as well as using VR to preview construction projects in “complete” state prior to breaking ground.

Such innovation was aligned to core company objectives -- creating $10 million in new revenue while delivering $30 million in savings from inventory optimisation.
